Is the CBM system proposed by Info-Marine a permanently installed system?

Info-Marine offers systems to choose from:

Portable set (cheaper - can even be moved from ship to ship). Measuring instrument plus the crew's apprenticeship in measurement allows you to prepare a file of measurements, which is sent to the IM center for analysis finished with a report sent to the Managers and the crew.

Permanent(more expensive) installed permanently.

In this case, if the ship would be sold to another shipowner can the portable set be transfered to another ship?

Of course, the Portable set can be used on another vessel after preparing a measurement route dedicated to the new ship.

Is the CBM system proposed by Info-Marine portable set, fully accepted by classifiers to obtain class notation?

Yes, CBM systems are fully accepted, in addition, the Info-Marine team prepares all documentation so that our client receives class notations quickly and efficiently.

In the case of class notation, do we have to take all the equipment on the ship with this notation or can we choose them?

In the case of class notation, the Shipowner decides which devices he wants to include in the class notation and which not. Info-Marine can advise you because the notation allows you to discuss with insurers in order to negotiate the premium for machinery equipment.
